2nd XI match report Current Ladders

Reminder to all from the Captains.

It is the responsibility of all players to arrive at the ground well in advance of the starting time - no later then 12:15. If you are unavailable you need to inform the club before Wednesday night training. As we have said all season, if you haven't told us otherwise, we will assume ou are available at selection on Wednesday night.

Once you are selected, you need to find out the location of the ground, and your means of getting there, well before the game. It is sensible to find this information out at least 24 hours in advance. It is no good ringing the captain on the day, or worse still, after the game has started to find out where you are supposed to be - by then it is FAR TOO LATE!

If you are unsure - call someone the day before. If you need a lift - call someone the day before.

Check the website during the week. Ground locations with a map reference can be found here and updated Thursday morning. Captains and committee members details can also be found here, put important numbers into your phone. It's all alot easier if you are at training mind you!

Dream team points are now being hidden until the winner is announced at Presentation Night.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT TRAINING will be a little different this week, come along and get involved. Sausage sizzle and bar will be open.

Junior grant

Elgar Park CC has received a $500 grant from the BHRDCA which will be used towards our under 10 side. Many thanks to the BHRDCA for helping us out.
A new pitch is also being laid at Surrey Park (possibly this week) our club has put some money towards the project with Whitehorse council paying 75% of the total costs.

1st XI in the four.

For the first time this season the first XI find themselves in the four. 2 games to go to hold a spot is the aim.
Despite a loss of form to the seconds, with 4 games to go we are still within reach of the four. So still plenty to play for over the next month.

Can everyone please be at Elgar Park at around 11.15am Saturday for the 2009/10 club photo?
Even if you are injured or not selected to play if you can make it down please be involved. A light brunch will be provided as always. From here the seconds can travel to Park Orchards together and the ones can prepare for their game.

Feb 6th remember is the club next function, get a team together and lets enjoy a good night together. We really want to see everyone attending. A feed and happy hour is also provided with the entry fee.
