Semi Final Day 2

Clear weather and another good bowling and fielding performance saw Blackburn all out for 103. Elgar Park stuck at it and got the rewards. Chris it must be said had a good innings in charge making some real good moves. J.Irish ends the day with 4 and Sri had 3 from yesterday.
Batting and after a shaky start we find ourselves 3/3! Stu took his chance and combined with Buckets to just about see us home. Buckets finishing with 56* as we past the required total 4 down.
Well done team Grand Final next weekend.  

Semi Final Day 1

Chris losing a good toss to lose we were sent into the field. Day started with Irish letting a sharp chance get through 1st slip. However tight bowling and everyone on song in the field and we had them 2 down at drinks. Chris pleaded for the next session to be ours with the aim of 2 key wickets. Sri delivered straight away with an awesome over and found himself on a hatrick. Wasn't to be, but he did follow up with another soon after before the rain hit. 30 overs bowled Blackburn 5/65 and the days play came to an end.    

1st XI semi final at Elgar Park

The ladders are in and our first XI have finished the season in 2nd place to earn a home final which is played on Saturday and Sunday. We will be playing Blackburn and would love to see as many people as possible to come down and have a look.

Well done to Roop who has become the latest to Score 300 runs in the one grade. Great effort.

154 needed

The first XI are looking to gain the 154 runs required with 9 wickets in hand to safely secure a finals birth without worrying about other results.
Unfortunately the second XI can no longer make the finals this season after going down on the weekend, however everyone should be proud of the second XI achievements over the last few seasons. I have never witnessed for the 2nd XI playing finals but surely if we ALL stick together it will only be a matter of time before this goal is achieved.
