The Elgar Park Cricket Club would like to advise all players, members, officials and supporters that the following Code of Conduct Policy is adhered to at all times. The Policy has been introduced by the Committee of the Elgar Park Cricket Club and there are NO exclusions to the following guidelines.
The purpose of the policy is to ensure all members and visitors to the Club are welcome and will not be affected by irresponsible or unacceptable behaviour.
1. Elgar Park Cricket Club is associated with the BHRDCA and therefore the club and its members must abide by all rules and policy's set out by the BHRDCA.
2. No member, official or supporter shall engage in conduct unbecoming or prejudicial to the interest of the club at any event in which the Elgar Park Cricket Club is involved.
This includes any function, match or organized event held either on the clubs premises or away from the club.
3. All members, officials and supporters shall:
· Respect each other and all members of the community at all times;
· Not verbally, physically, racially or sexually abuse or threaten any person;
· Not engage in or encourage any use of banned or illicit substances.
· Illicit substances are STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
· Not use abusive or offensive language in public or dispute decisions in a threatening manner;
· Use or purchase alcohol in accordance with the Liquor licensing requirements and Good Sports Policy;
Respect all Club Facilities, property, furniture & equipment as if it were their own.
· Dress in an appropriate manner which is neat, respectful and safe ie shoes to be worn at all times.
4. Upon registering as a member, official or supporter of the club, that person has agreed to the Code of Conduct Policy.
5. Failure to comply with the policy may result in that member/official/supporter, being dealt with by the Committee of the Elgar Park Cricket Club as they seem fit.
