1st XI captain announced

It is with great pleasure that the committee can announce that following 3 seasons as club captain Chris Langley has again been reappointed as Captain for the 2010/11 season.

Despite applications being open until June 30, once Chris confirmed he would indeed apply for the position again, myself and the committee felt given his work and success over the past 3 seasons the club would move immediately offer Chris the position.

I trust all members agree with the committee's view and we all will get behind Chris once preseason comes along.

More premiership photos found.

Warren Earl has done it again.
At a recent church celebration he came across premiership photos from the late 30's, 1954/55 and early 60's. While these are photo copies we hope to get hold of the originals in the future to make better copies.
Please view here.

Grand Final Day 2
The crowd gathered as promised on the hill.
Skipper got us started teaming up with Kotsa for the 1st wicket, the 2nd following shortly after. 16 overs they fought to stay in but tight bowling kept the required rate climbing. From there wickets fell regulary thanks to good bowling and fielding. Blakey's entrance getting the crowd involved.
Well deserved win guys.

Chris 4, Jason 2, Stu and Lemmy 1.
Jason a runout.
